Last year (almost a year to the date) was the first time I photographed the Ramirez Family. Not only have they come back multiple times, but I've grown very close to them! Sarah and I went to school together but she was a few grades above me, and I'm actually related to her husband....somewhere....so I've always known them. However, its been this past year as their photographer that I've really gotten to know them! I love their kids; they always keep me on my toes and laughing at their sessions! Their littlest boy, Rocko, is HILARIOUS! As you will see, you never really know what face he is going to make!! We decided to hit the Silo Christmas Tree Farm this year and let me tell you, it was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! The farm is on the North side of the Belton Lake and is close enough that it only takes 15 minutes to get there from the Belton/Temple area! The smell when you exit your vehicle is better than any candle could ever hope to replicate! The colors and cool air that, ironically, leave you feeling warm are exactly what I FEEL when I think of the Christmas season! They have amazing REAL Christmas wreaths, including in the shape of a cross! And you'd be nuts if you think we didn't do just a LITTLE bit of shopping while we were there haha!! All of you guys in the area, the tree farm sells the trees, wreaths, and other goodies! They also have an awesome pumpkin patch every year with pumpkin painting, scarecrow making, and other fun activities that you can get into by simply donating some canned goods! Definitely a fun trip to make with the family....or on a date! Check them out!!! I'm so glad this incredible family is finally gracing my blog with their presence! Enjoy!!!
