Sherri is such a sweet girl, so when she called to tell me she was running late after somehow managing to spill gasoline all over her outfit, I felt terrible that she even worried about it! Luckily, we had plenty of time for her session so she didn't need to rush! We met in downtown Georgetown where we walked around and stopped at anything that caught our attention. From there, we went to a gorgeous park where Sherri did an outfit change. She mentioned not being too fond of her fresh bruises and scrapes on her legs. Sherri plays softball and her session wasn't even one week after her team had been knocked out of the playoffs. I told her not to worry about hiding them, because they were kind of bada$$ peeking out from under her lacy white maxi dress. I hope one day she looks back at her photos and remembers this time where she loved playing softball with her high school friends, and how those battle wounds made it into her senior photos because they nabbed a spot in the playoffs making the season run long. I hope that she looks back at the teal garage door and remembers the pizza place we walked by that she keeps forgetting to try. Lastly, I hope she looks back and sees a story to tell her kids or spouse about her last year of high school!
